FX Lot Size Calculator Support

Enter your account balance (JPY), risk % and stop loss (pips), choose the quote currency and tap "Calculate". Using the latest exchange rates retrieved by the app, it calculates the appropriate lot size that keeps your loss within your risk %, and the loss amount (JPY) at that size. Instead of entering every trade with a fixed lot size, it adjusts the lot size to the currency pair and stop loss, so that the loss per trade stays constant. It is a money-management tool.

Any currency pair can be calculated as long as the currency on the right of the pair (the "quote currency" in the app) is one of these 14 currencies: JPY, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, CHF, CAD, SEK, NOK, CNH, SGD, THB and ZAR. For example, choose JPY for USD/JPY or EUR/JPY, USD for EUR/USD or GBP/USD, and GBP for EUR/GBP. The account balance and loss amount are calculated in Japanese yen (JPY).

The results of this app are for reference only. Before placing an actual order, always check the figures in your FX broker's trading platform as well.

The app retrieves the latest rates over the internet, for example when it starts, and shows the time they were retrieved (price update time) on screen. If the time is old, reopen the app while connected to the internet.
